What is a conversation flow?

An overview of what conversation flow is and how to set it up.

Conversation flow is a function we added so you can tailor questions and answers for your chatbot to go through with students. This enables the chatbot to work as a guided tutor and allow you as an educator to guide your students through learning content on their own. Setting up a conversation flow is very easy! You can add Quizzes, Forms, and even Q&A sets that you have generated in the knowledge section of our platform.  

First, navigate to the Conversation Flow page. Open the menu on the right side of the screen to find the knowledge you would like to add to the conversation flow. Next, drag and drop the selected knowledge onto the conversation tree where you would like to add it. It could look something like this: 

On the student’s end, this tree would look like this in their chatbot: 

The student then has the option to take the assessment, fill out the form, or go through some guided learning on the subject before taking the quiz. Educators can make these conversation trees as complex or as simple as they choose!
