No questions are being generated

Why you might not have any question and answers generated

If you’ve uploaded a supported document format, such as a PDF or docx, but Q&A pairs are not being generated, it’s possible that the content is not digitised and is simply an image. Q&A generation will only function on text-based documents.

You may encounter these errors in uploading image-based documents:

1. When using the "Generate Q&As" function, Walter won't be able to extract Q&As as shown below.
   
   
2. When using the "Summarise Document(s)" function before generating Q&A pairs, the file may be successfully summarised but displays a blank summary.
   

❗To resolve this issue, you may need to use an online OCR (optical character recognition) tool to convert the images in the document into text.
