Creating Agents: A Comprehensive Guide

What are Agents? Agents are organizational containers within the platform that allow you to structure and manage your AI tutors. They help separate and customize AI tutors for different schools, departments, or other divisions within a university or large organization.

For example, you might create separate agents for:

  • School of Engineering
  • School of Business
  • Department of Mathematics
  • Office of Student Affairs

Benefits of Using Agents:

  • Improved organization and management of resources
  • Tailored settings and configurations for each division
  • Streamlined administration and user access control

How to Create an Agent:

  1. Log in to the admin portal
  2. Click on your profile icon in the top right corner
  3. Select "Switch Agents" from the dropdown menu

  4. Click "+ Add New Agent"

Important Notes:

  • If you don't see the "+ Add New Agent" option, check your current plan and account status.
  • Only Super Admins have the authority to create new agents.
  • This feature is available exclusively on Institution Essentials plans and higher tiers.
